Fantastic location with a unique haunted vibe

Our stay was truly memorable thanks to the charming atmosphere and welcoming staff. The courtyard was a great spot to relax, and the personalized stories about local history made it even more special. The cozy room accommodated us well, but I wish there was a little more seating in the courtyard for evenings spent outside.

During my stay, I loved being less than a 5-minute walk to the vibrant Jackson Square and getting lost in the charm of the French Market just a short stroll away, which made it easy to explore the area on foot and soak in the lively atmosphere of the city.

The room was cozy and clean, with comfy beds that made for a good night's sleep. I loved the little touches like complimentary snacks and drinks too. The bathroom was spacious and had great water pressure. On the downside, the floor felt a bit slanted, which was a little weird, and you could hear other guests coming and going, making it not super private. But overall, the vibe was relaxed and fit well with the hotel’s haunting theme.

Unfortunately, the noise from the AC unit disrupted sleep, and the lack of proper lighting and electrical outlets made it inconvenient. The absence of housekeeping throughout the stay was notable, and while there were air fresheners, their overly sweet smell was bothersome.

The hotel was a delightful stop during our Mardi Gras adventure. The courtyard provided a lovely space to unwind after a day of festivities, and our room was impressively quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep despite the nearby celebrations. I particularly appreciated the fantastic location, with Bourbon Street and other attractions just a short walk away. The staff, especially Christina, were incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
